The tenure of the coroners is extended

The Government Information Department has announced that the tenure of the coroners who are currently working on a permanent and temporary basis has been extended to December 31.

A statement issued by the department states that the decision was taken by the Minister of Justice in view of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Accordingly, coroners who have completed 70 years of age or are nearing completion will be able to continue their service.
