The Director of the State Intelligence Service, Suresh Salley, has instructed Fr. Cyril Gamini to appear before the CID on Monday (15) to hear the complaint.
Although the CID summoned Fr. Cyril Gamini on two previous occasions, he did not appear before the CID to give a statement.
He filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking an injunction restraining his arrest.
The petition filed on November 2 was considered on the 8th and the Attorney General who appeared for the Director of the CID informed the Supreme Court that there were no plans to arrest Fr. Cyril Gamini.
