Eighteen people, including the Padiyathalawa Medical Officer of Health, have been infected with the Covid virus an investigation revealed yesterday.
In addition to the Medical Officer of Health, the Public Health Inspector and five other employees of the Medical Officer of Health’s office are among the 18 people infected with covid, according to the Medical Officer of Health.
He further stated that Covid infected people are being found in large numbers in Saranagama, Hagamwela, Kirawana and Thalapitioya villages.
