About 2/3 of the tourists who visited Sri Lanka in September were Indians, according to the monthly tourist arrivals report.
This is just the beginning, says the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka.
The office said that Indian tourists will continue to help revive the country’s tourism industry and revitalize India-Sri Lanka relations.
The Indian High Commission also thanked the Sri Lankans for welcoming Indian tourists.
