J. P. R. Karunaratne has been appointed as the Secretary to the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka with effect from the 15th of this month.
Assistant Governor J. P. R. Mr. Karunaratne holds a Masters Degree in Commerce from the University of New South Wales, Australia and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Colombo.
Mr. Karunaratne is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants, UK and an Associate Member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka.
