The government says it is focusing on starting rural schools with less than 100 children first.

Health Minister Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella said that as per the recommendations of the Covid Technical Committee, attention has been paid to start vaccinating children between the ages of 12-18 as soon as possible.

Following the vaccination, the school-start-up process will begin.
